Wigs 4 Kids is excited to welcome DJ Jamie Martinez from Chicago radio to our Wellness Center on Saturday, May 21st. Jamie was growing his hair to donate when he heard about Wigs 4 Kids through the media and chose us as his charity of choice. He set an appointment at Go Green Salon located inside Wigs 4 Kids as he wanted to personally see where his hair would be going. Jamie’s inspiration to donate comes from his family: sadly, three generations have been touched by cancer, including Jamie himself. As a father of three and a successful on-air talent, Jamie knew he had to find a way to help children struggling with this disease feel better as they journey through their health challenge. We’re looking forward to seeing Jamie as he donates his hair for the kids on Saturday!
