Macomb County Planning & Economic Development has announced the return of its Shop Local Macomb contest, an effort to encourage supporting small businesses during the holidays. The campaign, now in its 7th year, asks shoppers to give business to independently owned/operated establishments. In return, shoppers can enter into a drawing to win one of 10 $150 gift cards donated by First State Bank. Here’s how you can participate:
• Snap a picture shopping for merchandise at Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan (30130 Harper Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48082) through Sunday, December 3rd, 2023. Our merchandise makes a great holiday gift while supporting the kids!
• Submit your entry by following the prompts on https://www.macombgov.org/make-macomb-your-home/shop-local-macomb
• Share images on Facebook or Instagram using the #ShopLocalMacomb tag.
You will be entered to win one of 10 $150 gift cards sponsored by First State Bank and MW4K will be considered for a $1,000 grant! Winning shoppers and businesses will be randomly selected on Monday, December 4, 2023. Thank you for your consideration.
