Paul Mitchell the School "Wig Day"

There was a real heart connection when visiting Paul Mitchell Grand Rapids. The team and future professionals embraced Wigs 4 Kids and took action to learn more about hair restoration. What a great example they set to motivate other future professionals to learn this craft.

"What a good experience it was to first, have the awesome Maggie Varney, Founder of Wigs 4 Kids as guest artist at Paul Mitchell the School Grand Rapids. She and her husband Bobby, traversed across the state to deliver a very emotional and inspiring message that touched the hearts of our Team and many of our Future Professionals. As if that wasn't enough, she promised to send every single person in our school their very own wig to learn about the importance of hair restoration. She encouraged us to practice cutting & styling them and have fun! A few weeks later, a big box arrived and there they were. The team created an exciting way to distribute the wigs. We partnered up and "customized" each other's new looks with help from Learning Leaders on techniques for cutting synthetic hair. The following day became known as "WIG WEDNESDAY". As you can see from the photos, It was one of our most enjoyable and enlightening experiences to date. The take-aways are endless! We have both Future Professionals and Team members signing up to take the "Cuts 4 a Cause" Hair Restoration Certification Program with Maggie. Thank you Maggie, for your unending passion. Thank you, Tina Black and Winn Claybaugh for supporting this wonderful organization." - Ralene

It is through Tina & Winn that we are able to sponsor 2 instructors and 4 future professionals through our Cuts 4 a Cause class in April, which is now full!
