Tonight, we participated in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) hearing in Sterling Heights and congratulate the city on being part of the 50-year history of this program which helps address critical & unmet community needs. We thank the Citizen's Advisory Committee and city officials for the many years of support they have given not only to our Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan program: also, the other nonprofits doing good work to benefit others. It takes all of us to make a difference! A special shoutout to the Sterling Heights Police Department, which supports our Pigs 4 Wigs initiative every year during No-shave November. They too help us continue our mission of serving the kids at no charge to them and their families!
