Today, our Founder & CEO Maggie Varney had the honor & privilege of testifying in front of the Michigan House of Representatives Appropriations Subcommittee for the Department of Health & Human Services. Maggie advocated for Michigan children in need of wigs and support services. Since Michigan insurance companies do not currently recognize the need for a child to have a wig, we asked for funding to help cover the cost of wigs for more children throughout the state. Heartfelt gratitude to Robert Kennedy & his team at Capitol Affairs for assisting us in navigating the legislative process and to Committee Chair Representative Christine Morse and the committee members for listening to our testimony.
