As we continue to work with local senators, state representatives and the team at Capitol Affairs on wig bill legislation, our goal is for insurance companies in Michigan to recognize the need for a child to have a wig like any other prosthetic. Progress is being made at the state level, as the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS) has provided a grant toward wigs, hair hats & maintenance kits so we can continue serving the children of Michigan at no charge to them or their families.
