How Childhood Cancer Impacts Family Finances

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it affects the whole family emotionally, socially, psychologically - and financially. 60% of families caring for a child with cancer had one parent stop working or cut back in hours worked to ensure they receive treatment. A large majority of families experience significant insurance obstacles as well.
