Established in 1974, the Community Development Block Grant administered by HUD (Housing & Urban Development) supports projects for low- to moderate-income residents, including infrastructure, housing rehabilitation, public facilities, and economic development. 15% of CDBG funding in local communities is allocated to nonprofit activities, like our Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan to help charities continue their unique missions.
