Wigs 4 Kids has some exciting news! In April we announced that a house in Redford, MI had been generously donated to Wigs 4 Kids through Keller Williams Great Lakes Market Center. A special thanks to Jake Hewitt who approached our Advisory Board member Bobby Bielat about donating the house. Bobby worked with his real estate partner George Joly to find a buyer and we are pleased to share that the house has now sold, generating $37,000 for our program after renovation costs! The situation was a win-win for our generous donors George Verstraete and Darlene Soave of DG Foundation LLC, as it is a tax write-off and raised revenue for Wigs 4 Kids to continue our mission.
The funds will be put toward our capital campaign so we can reach our goal and purchase a permanent brick-and-mortar Wellness Center for the kids of Michigan. This will allow us the space & capacity to double the amount of children we serve.
