"Cuts 4 a Cause"

Professional Training Program

 

We take the opportunity to invite you to support
Wigs 4 Kids by attending our Cuts 4 a Cause Professional Training Program to help further assist children of Michigan. 

All facets of the Wigs 4 Kids organization will be covered including: contact with children, families and donors, funding, community outreach, measurement, ordering, cutting, and styling of wigs.  Along with the appearance-related challenges caused by treatment, we will be addressing the psychological, social and emotional side effects hair loss has on our kids.  After completing the course, each individual will be evaluated and certification will be awarded.

Please find registration information below.  You may complete and return the Application by March 1st, 2012 with your
non-refundable deposit of $200 to secure a place in the program.  The balance of $200 will be due at the first class for your kit which is mandatory.   There is no additional fee for the 16 hour class itself as you will be donating 16 hours back to Wigs 4 Kids.  Please register as soon as possible; only 8 spots are available.

Monday, April 30                            9-1:00 pm

Monday, May 21                             9-1:00 pm

Monday, June 25                            9-1:00 pm

Monday, July 30                             9-1:00 pm

You will receive the following in your kit:

• Deluxe Long Neck Canvas Block Head

• Wig Case, Child Size Head form with Professional Wig Clamp

• 5-1/2" Scissors with case, 5-1/2" Ice Tempered Thinning Shears

• Razor & blades

• Wig Shampoo & Conditioner

• Wire Brush, Drying Rack, Chin Strap & Netted cap

• Detangler comb

• Wig T-pins(1/2 lb box), Styrofoam Head and Sleep cap

• Demo Wig & Miscellaneous Supplies (i.e. Books & Teaching Materials)

Upon receipt of your deposit and registration form, we will mail you a full information package to include other necessary documentation.  A current resume or bio will also be needed to share with other professionals in the class.
